Ethical Uses of Generative AI for Teaching and Learning
Project Overview
This project will deploy a variety of AI tools – including chat bots, topic recommenders, video transcriptions, and courseware designers – in an undergraduate course entitled Ethics and Artificial Intelligence; students will subsequently be asked to reflect on and write about the ethical implications of these technologies. This project will enable students to gain first hand classroom experience with Generative AI while asking a series of big questions about its role in promoting (or hindering) critical thinking and autonomy.
