Improve ChatGPT's Competency in Generating Effective Business Communication Messages: Integrating Rhetorical Genre Analysis into Prompting Techniques
Project Overview
This research project will work collaboratively with students to explore the practical applications of AI LLM, with a focus on evaluating prompting techniques to improve ChatGPT's competency in effectively supporting students in generating contextually appropriate business communication messages. Over the course of the faculty fellow program, the project will develop strategies to support AI assisted writing and help students to integrate rhetorical genre analysis skills into prompting techniques. Through practical exercises and experimental studies, students and faculty will collaboratively develop their understanding of prompt engineering, enhance AI literacy, identify content biases and AI hallucinations, and integrate the classes’ subject knowledge with the goal of improving AI output's reliability and accuracy.
