Facilitated Cohort

Available February 14, 2022

This nine-week learning experience includes opportunities for small-group peer interaction and feedback, as well as facilitator feedback on participant work. There will be opportunities to explore online teaching strategies and supporting technologies, but this is not a technology skills training.

In this format, you will participate in the course with peers and colleagues. A course facilitator will guide the learning and provide individualized feedback on your work.

You will receive a digital badge highlighting the skills you demonstrated in the final project for each module. Completion of the digital badge projects requires you to have an online or blended course to work on and submit samples of your work.

Time commitment: Participants can expect to spend an average of 5 hours per week on course materials and activities.

Note: The Canvas site will not be available until February 14, 2022.

Self-Paced

This learning experience consists of 9 self-paced online modules; you may choose to take as many modules as you like. In the context of your own instructional goals, you will learn to choose appropriate online strategies and technology tools, and then apply them to your own courses.

If you choose to earn the digital badges, you will complete a final project demonstrating the skills you learned in the module. Completion of the digital badge projects requires you to have an online or blended course to work on and submit samples of your work.

Please note that the first module (Foundations for Success) is prerequisite to the other modules and does not carry its own badge.
